What is Uptimast®?

Uptimast® is the future of fully automatic flag flying. It is a patented technology that removes the manual hassle and replaces it with precision and ease of use. The system is built around a modern, prefabricated technology unit developed to be both scalable and export-ready.

The vision behind

Behind Uptimast stand two experienced profiles: Henrik with his deep insight into mechanics and Ulrik with extensive experience in electronics and software. Together they have reinvented Uptimast® from the ground up to ensure the product lives up to modern standards for series production and technical documentation.

From the first prototypes in 2024 to the first official installation of the new generation in May 2025, the journey has been driven by a shared passion for technical innovation and Danish quality.

From idea to finished product

The story of Uptimast® began in November 2023, when Henrik Nielsen and Ulrik Mogensen set out to carry on inventor Flemming Skovlunds' life's work. With the acquisition of the patent in March 2024, a thorough transformation of the product began.

The journey from idea to finished market product has been marked by both technical challenges and major breakthroughs. When Henrik and Ulrik took over the project, they had a brilliant idea but no technical drawings or software rights. This gave them the opportunity to start with a clean slate and create a solution built for the future.

The process required a fundamental change in the product's design. The original, heavy concrete structure was replaced by a light and modern technology housing that can be assembled at the factory.

Along the way, close collaboration with specialised subcontractors and ongoing adaptation to the strict CE requirements has ensured that Uptimast® is today a robust and safety-approved product. With the first customer installation in spring 2025, Uptimast® is now ready to automate flagpoles across the country.
